Located in the heart of the Shelton business district, Connecticut’s leading growth town in Fairfield County, Cambridge Hanover purchased this corporate surplus building as well as two adjacent land parcels in July of 2013. Previously owned by the W. E. Bassett Company before being acquired by California-based Pacific World Corporation, the building was vacated as part of the company’s reorganization and consolidation. Due to Cambridge Hanover’s track record and specialization in the acquisition and repositioning of this property type, the seller was confident that the buyer would perform under the contract and acquire the surplus property as scheduled and at the contract price. After acquiring the property, Cambridge Hanover completed substantial renovations to the building, including updating its window line, constructing new glass tenant entrances, and demising the building into multiple tenant suites to best meet the market demand. Tenants include COMET Technologies, Microphase Corporation, Stage to Show, Option Care, and Red Bull. Cambridge Hanover sold the building to a New York-based family in June 2016.
