When Cambridge Hanover purchased the Shelby Distribution Center in 2005, the three-building property was approximately 55% leased. Cambridge Hanover immediately initiated a repositioning program for the facility, comprised of cosmetic repairs, landscaping, signage, painting, and an aggressive leasing program. The Shelby Distribution Center’s tenants have included Bestway Delivery Services, CLS USA, Michigan Logistics, JAS Forwarding, Sanare, Selecta Products, EMCOR, and the United States Postal Service. Subsequent to repositioning, the property consistently maintained high occupancy and rental rates. The property was sold in October 2014 to a private REIT.
